Privacy policy
PRIVACY POLICY
We respect your privacy, and any information that you provide to us is subject to this Privacy Policy, which governs our collection and use of your information. By using the Site, you consent to our collection and use of Personal Information consistent with this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions.
Information We Collect
In general, you can visit this Site without identifying who you are or revealing any information about yourself. Information collected online can generally be categorized as anonymous or personally identifiable. “Anonymous Information” is information that cannot be connected to the identity of a specific individual. Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) is information that specifically identifies a particular user, such as name, address, or phone number. An example of Anonymous Information is the fact that, while this Site may record the number of visits to a particular page that occur in a given period of time, it does not necessarily tell us the names or other identifying information of every visitor. Some users of this Site will choose not to provide any Personal Information; therefore, those individuals are anonymous to us, and any data collected about their use of this Site is Anonymous Information.
You will be able to make purchases of products and services through this Site. When you make a purchase, we ask for information such as your name, billing and shipping address, email address and payment method information in order to complete your requested transaction, e.g., to process your purchase, confirm your order, and ship the items to you.
If you elect to join our email list and/or our SMS program or you elect to receive our newsletter, we will ask for your contact information such as your phone number and email address.
If you elect to create an account with us, we will ask you to select a username and password, which may then be used to access your account online at any time to delete, add, or change information. If you create that account, you may also include your contact information, payment method information, and shipping and billing address. You agree to allow us to store that information until such time you elect to change or delete it. If you ever use a public computer to access your online account, we strongly encourage you to log out of your account at the conclusion of your session.
When you contact us, complete forms via our Site, or respond to surveys, questionnaires or applications we make available, or if you email us, you are voluntarily releasing information to us.
Like most websites, we use automatic data collection technology when you visit our Site to record information that identifies your computer, your location, and your online activity, including information about your IP addresses, operating system, browser type and language, what webpages you visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Site.
We will never knowingly collect information from children under 18 years of age, and we ask that you do not provide personal information about children.
In addition, you agree to our Messaging Terms (https://terms.pscr.pt/legal/shop/northern-classics-llc/terms_of_service) and Messaging Privacy Policy (https://terms.pscr.pt/legal/shop/northern-classics-llc/privacy_policy).
Cookies
We may store some data on your computer in the form of a “cookie” to automatically recognize your device the next time you visit. Cookies are small data files, typically made up of a string of text and numbers, that assign you a unique identifier. This information enables your computer to have a “dialogue” with our Site and permits us to administer our Site more efficiently and to provide a more tailored and user-friendly service to you. Cookies can help us in many ways, for example, by allowing us to tailor the Site to better match your interests, or to store your login credentials. You can remove or block cookies in some circumstances, but in some cases that may impact your ability to use the Site. You may opt out of the automated collection of information by third party ad networks for the purpose of delivery of advertisements tailored to your interests by visiting the consumer opt out page for the Self-Regulatory Principles of Online Behavioral Advertising at http://optout.aboutads.info/choices. You can also opt out of a third party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting www.networkadvertising.org/choices. More information about cookies can be found at: http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
Use of Your Information
We use the information we collect to complete transactions requested by you, to respond to your inquiries, to provide you with customer support, to collect amounts owed, to resolve disputes, to troubleshoot problems with your account, and to operate and improve operation of the Site. We may also use the information to provide you with certain communications, such as service announcements and administrative messages. We may also use your information to connect you with third party applications or third party accounts (such as payment) upon your request. We may also monitor and analyze trends and usage.
We also use information we collect about Site visitors to help us operate the Site, and for our own marketing purposes. If you have elected to provide us with your contact information, we may contact you regarding your orders and your account, regarding your customer service requests, and to provide announcements regarding the Site (such as updates to these Terms). These types of communications are necessary to complete transactions requested by you. If you have elected to sign up for our email list, SMS program, and/or newsletter, we may use your contact information to communicate with you about our products, services, and promotions.
We use Google Analytics and associated tools on the Site to track visitor statistics, to help analyze how the Site is used, and to help us show you advertisements that are relevant to you. Through these tools, we collect information including but not limited to the collection of device-specific information, log information, location information, cookie-related information, and visitor behavior information. The information generated about your use of the Site (including IP address) is transmitted to Google, and this information is then used to evaluate the Site and to compile statistical reports on Site activity, and to provide advertisements in search results, banner ads on third party websites, or in other forms. We use this information to better understand use of this Site and topics of interest among site visitors. These service providers will have access to your Personal Information only to perform their tasks on our behalf and for no other purpose. We may share information we collect with those third parties to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide these services, consistent with the protections in this Privacy Policy.
- We may further share your Personal Information with third parties who use it for their own purposes if you provide consent.
Subject to applicable law, and as we deem appropriate, we may also share or disclose your Anonymous Information, public information, and aggregated information that is not reasonably linkable to you or your device with third parties.

We may also share your Personal Information with our lawyers and other professional advisors, and third party providers of services such as cloud storage, customer relationship management systems, and others who need your Personal Information to provide services to us (or on our behalf).
If our websites or software are acquired or merged with another company, or if we are part of a merger, asset sale, financing, liquidation, or bankruptcy, your Personal Information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide services to you. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your Personal Information as set forth in these Terms.

We will retain your Personal Information for a reasonable length of time, and without limiting that time period, to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms and our policies. We will also retain Anonymous Information for internal analysis purposes.

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to the Policy will take effect immediately upon their posting to this Website.
