Is this coat good for snow?
Yes! It has a durable water repellent (DWR) finish and synthetic PrimaLoft® ThermoPlume® insulation which is designed for extreme warmth and will perform well when wet.

The Ultra Puff is our warmest coat with the heaviest insulation, making it great for dinners out, city strolls, and outdoor play. The 'Northern Classics Winter Coat' provides warmth without the bulk, making it great for skiing and active kids.

What is ThermoPlume®?
PrimaLoft® ThermoPlume® is made up of feather-like plumes of synthetic fibers specially designed to mimic the lightweight warmth, loft, softness, and compressibility of natural goose down but also has the proven water-repellent properties of PrimaLoft® fibers.

Does it run true to size?
Most families find this style runs true to size.

Machine wash cold with a small amount of mild liquid detergent or technical cleaner. Do not bleach or use fabric softener. Close all zippers before washing and wash with similar colors. Tumble dry on low heat with dryer balls or clean tennis balls to restore loft and prevent clumping. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.
